Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: April 14, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) establishes the rules for using the CleanData service, provided by DLV Digital S.A. It supplements the Terms of Service.
1. General Principles
You agree to use the service in good faith, lawfully, and in accordance with its intended purpose — cleaning and normalizing tabular data.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not upload files containing: (a) malicious code, viruses, macros; (b) personal data of third parties without their consent or legal basis; (c) data related to illegal activities; (d) materials that infringe copyright; (e) data whose export or processing is prohibited by sanctions law.
3. Prohibited Actions
Prohibited: (a) circumventing rate-limiting or quotas; (b) automating access to the service (scraping, bots) without written permission; (c) reverse engineering the service; (d) reselling or sublicensing access; (e) using the service to build a competing product; (f) intentionally overloading servers; (g) spoofing headers or identifiers.
4. Responsible AI Use
When using AI features, you may not: (a) submit data to extract confidential information via prompt injection; (b) use AI normalization for purposes unrelated to data cleaning; (c) attempt to extract or reconstruct other users' data from the AI cache.
5. Resource Limits
Free tier: maximum 5 uploads per hour, files up to 50 MB, up to 10,000 rows. Paid tier: limits specified on the pricing page. Exceeding limits without prior agreement may result in temporary suspension.
6. Monitoring and Enforcement
We reserve the right to monitor service usage for violations of this Policy. We do not analyze file contents but track usage patterns (file sizes, request frequency, feature usage).
7. Consequences of Violations
For violations, we may: (a) issue a warning; (b) temporarily restrict access; (c) suspend the account; (d) delete data; (e) deny refunds. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement.
8. Reporting Violations
If you discover a violation of this Policy by other users, report it to DLV_support@proton.me.
